Logical Division Paragraph Example | Writing Class

Logical division paragraph task

Reasons Why I Like One Direction

There are three main reasons why I like One Direction. The first reason is that they were the first British boy band to revive the glory of a boy band in England after The Beatles. Many of their songs and albums set records for fastest-selling. For example, their album titled "Midnight Memories" managed to sell 12 million copies in less than a year. Second, One Direction is not just some of the young people joining a singing group for me, One Direction has opened my eyes to the English language I used to take for granted. When I was in fourth grade, I wasn't very good at English, but because I was motivated by One Direction, I tried to learn English quickly through the songs they sang and the British accents they used. For example, in their song "What Makes You Beautiful" there were many difficult words for me. I kept looking in the dictionary for the meaning of each word they sang, like the word "Insecure" which was very foreign to me before. Lastly, their songs make me feel calm and comforted directly. Although most of their songs are about romance, that doesn't matter for me because I can feel the atmosphere they want to show their listeners very well. For instance, their "History" song often makes me cry because it reminds me of childhood memories. To summarize, things have changed since I got to know One Direction, especially my taste in music and new languages (including English). I hope they can all get together into one band again, One Direction.

My Cat

I have many cats, but the one I love and pamper the most is a cat named Yoyo. Yoyo is a young male cat. He is only five months old this October. Yoyo's hobbies are sleeping, running fast, and breaking cloth with his sharp claws. He has eyes that can glow at night when exposed to light which he can use to walk and hunt in the dark. When Yoyo wanted to eat, he would wrap his arms around my legs while licking my toes. That is when I knew Yoyo was very hungry. Yoyo is a fussy type when it comes to where he will sleep. During the day, he will choose to sleep on my bed until I approach and wake him up, but at night, Yoyo will prefer to sleep with my parents on the bed and choose a narrow fitting place for him to sleep. His favorite food is boiled fish mixed with wet cat food, then sprinkled with dry cat food and served during the day when he is tired of playing and hungry. Currently, Yoyo is the only child of his mother named Tina because his siblings died from the virus a few months ago, only Yoyo is still strong enough to survive in these circumstances. Yoyo's body is also a bit fat compared to cats his age. He has a distended stomach so that when he runs, his stomach moves with the movement of his feet. The conclusion is Yoyo is the cat that I like because he is the most spoiled cat and loves to play with me. He is also fat and funny when he snores while sleeping with his mouth open.
